In order to cater to the increased demand of 2-wheelers, another full-fledged manufacturing facility was designed on a 50 acre plot, fairly rectangular in shape. This industrial campus houses multi-disciplinary structures, but uniquely connected between all multi levels of various manufacturing hubs, which reduces the load on internal roads required for transfer of in-house material, thereby enhancing safety at source.
The planning strategy worked around effective segregation of diverse but interdependent functions resulting in a smooth linear operational flow. This was achieved through logical placement of the built structures and complete segregation of incoming and outgoing vehicles. About 75% of the plant is currently complete with effective sustainable strategies with respect to planning, material palette, indoor air quality control with efficiently optimized service routes.
